This is going to be my last post in a while. HSC motivation has kicked in (after reading about how much Korean kids study i.e. 6am to midnight ~ school then tutoring) and the immense pressure that I'm under to do well, not only for myself but for my future. I NEED to get into UTS with a 94 ATAR.

My fortune above from the temple isn't so good ; they told I'm gonna fail if I remain lazy ; so yeah, even the heavens are telling me to get my head outta my ass into my books! School starts soon, I'm cramming my belonging texts and dotpoints... at this rate it's a bad start to a new year.

I think one thing that Melbourne has influenced about me is the laid-backness of the city! Creativity pours endlessly, art is actually appreciated and implemented in 'real' society and everyone is just...happy.

Oh yeah, I also learnt how to drive whilst down there :P even though I don't have my Ls hahahaha *shhhhh*

Roadtrip to Melbourne consisted of driving for 12 hours straight, making various pitstops to the big merino, the big submarine and the big Ned Kelly. The scenery of the Australian countryside is beautiful (although after 5 hrs of seeing the same composition of rustic yellows, dry grasses and dead trees, does get a bit monotonous) haha. Finally arrived at Melbourne in the end! :D Going to go shopping tomorrow so weeeee.

Today I went to Auburn officeworks to print photos and work accumulated over the past month and as I headed home, I had like a massive dizzy spell - headaches, light-headedness, vomiting - the works. Mum is getting me to go to the docs soon one day to check for diabetes since my family has a history of it. I really hope I'm not diagnosed with it :/ But based on the fact that I love sugar and I have at least a spoonful of it in my coffee everyday.. the future looks bleak.

Hoping to win an SNSD & 2NE1 album soon thanks to the KTO competition on facebook :) Got Jimmy to apply for the 2NE1 one so that when he wins, I get the album haha. Corrupting the system I know >__>"

I love my niece. Hahaha, if it's one thing I love more than making pedofaces, it's my niece (funny enough, rather than revolting her, she actually laughs when I make it) :L ... I don't think that's good.

So today, my entire family (mum, sister, niece and I) just basically went out and took photos and bought shit for Christmas. Went to Parra Westfields in search for a rockinghorse.. attempt failed. Though I did walk out of the shopping centre with a pretzel in my hand :P ..wasn't as good as I imagined.. just tasted like bread.

The weather was perfect today- nice summer breeze :D Just liked to share that with those who spent today cooped into their house, tumblring and watching movies all day :D (dw, that's my plan for tomorrow after I get another senior sci section done) :D

My sister isn't getting me an Instax for xmas :'c Apparently, she deems it stupid and unnecessary.. >___>" So she's getting my 2 Dotpoint textbooks instead: Bio & SeniorSci. Oh wells, it's IS year 12 so no complaints! :) Thanks sis!

As You Like It at the Belvoir Theatre was an amazing experience. Through the trials and tribulations that 2011 has thrown at me, the small spark within me that appreciated English had slowly diminished. Today's experience with the HAHS family at the theatre completed reignited that spark! It was amazing to see real actors at work; their Shakespearean lines, centuries old, presented flawlessly with emotions that I could not imitate to save my life. Gahh! I loved today! :D

After the play, instead of parting ways as I originally thought, all of us went towards Chinatown and kinda split from there. I with some close friends went to the upstairs foodcourt and had Japanese which was amazing as usual :) I think I've found the perfect obento place <3

Can't wait for what the rest of the holidays has in store for me :)

I know, I know, it has been a hell of a hiatus but I promise you guys, I am B.A.C.K.
So the first round of HSC assessments have been completed and oh man, I am so happy I'm finally free.. for the meanwhile :)
So far, results are ok. Got 84% for 2U Math so.. no too bad. I just need to maintain and improve!

It's finally the holidays! Ok, I must stress that 2011 has been an academically challenging year, where I've actually put some effort into my work. So the fact that I can now have a well deserved break.. it's just awesome. As you can see from the photographs of my dear Park Bom above, I am now in possession of a DSLR camera! :D Yayers! haha, actually it's the school's camera that I borrowed over this holiday to take pictures of Melbourne! That's right, I'm going there on 3-11th of Jan :D !!! Can't wait to absorb the street art there and get inspired. Speaking about art, my aim this year is to get state rankings for art. No joke, I am dead serious. I'm gonna push all my determination to do academically well to the extremes and really chuck a Cindy Van!

Informal was the most amazing night ever. So glad that I spent what probably is the last 'big event' with my grade before our HSC and the stress that comes with it. Everyone looked great! See? Thank you to everyone who came yesterday. It feels great to know that I have friends that I know have stuck with me for the past 4 years and the many years to come. Happy Birthday to me! :D

So yesterday morning, I spent a few hours at country fair with my niece and mum, just showing them around. Hm, country fair was pretty uneventful but nonetheless, it's Hurlstone tradition! :D Art Gallery was a success and I'm glad to know that some people liked my cabinet :) Hopefully some money will come my way ;)

Went over to my sister's house straight after and just relaxed since the niece was sleeping and I had a garage with a treadmill to myself :L Then by 5 we went off to Tk Something! I was a bit worried at the beginning because of the lack of numbers (thank god I told the restaurant of the reduction in estimates) but sooner or later, we began cooking and people began coming in :)

So full :D I think my table ate through 2 'everything' platters and 6-9 individual plates? :D haha, I'm so happy that the party wasn't a flop. It's times like this that I really am content with my life. Thank you again to everyone who came and sorry to those who couldn't make it. You missed out on a hell of a party!

I'm getting old :( Almost 17 and I haven't accomplished anything. Looks like I'm going down the path of.. insignificance haha.

Guess it's that time of the year again where I wish for things that I would love in my life but reality is, I have all I need. A loving family, awesome friends and a stable-ish income of $30 a week from homework marking haha. Shame I've been cut on my pile of hw as of late since.. well, until Diab comes back and Quyen leaves.

What I really want:

1) ~~VIP ticket to the Kpop Festival in November. Everyone I know is getting VIP and i'm here all povo Q___Q I'll pay at least 50%!~~ Woo, I've saved up for my silver ticket (139) so that's gone :D

2) New wallet with the ID sleeve preferably (my almost 4 years old one is disgustingly distraught and teared apart)

3) New school bag that is relatively thick.. My green one that I use now has a hole at the bottom gradually becoming bigger... Q__Q

4) Instax camera.. omo, if that were to come to papa :D

I still have to find a good restaurant for the party that'll be on Country Fair night :( Apparently, the Bau Trung at cabra sucks in terms of customer service.. and we're all there for a good time right? Any good restaurant suggestions that is near a station/walking distance,affordable for everyone and have a menu with good variety? I'm running outta ideas...

I don't understand humanity sometimes... My heart is out to families and businesses affected by the London Riots. While others are fighting for basic freedom, these idiots are fighting for Playstations.

Sorry for the lack of updates as of late. Ever since we've dived back into school, it's been 6/7 hours of hardcore paying attention, try to absorb all the information thrown at you in an attempt to raise your rank and get into the groove of next year. Then straight after we have tutor and homework and by the time you get home, it's 9, you dig into a bowl of tofu and cabbage then fall asleep only to repeat that pattern all over again. It's not the life I want but it's the only way to guarantee one in the future.

Guilt. It's one of those indescribable things that really eats you alive, makes you feel worthless and really makes you think about who you really are. I'm not going to expand on this but I'm just glad it's over. I will never do something so stupid again.

Art Criticism Course- How it is so far..

Basically what I've been attending the past few days since Wed is a HSC Intensive Art Historic and Criticism course (a 1 unit, non-ATAR course)

I'll talk about what I've been up to in dot point, yeah?

- Settling at NAS (National Art School) and getting lectures and talk from curators, critics and practicing artists

- Visited Art galleries (both regional and commercial) across the city.

- Today we visited a small gallery in Paddington (Roslyn Oxley 9) and you would not believe the works of this woman that I love Del Kathryn Barton (the picture of the gallery below, with the drawing of a woman with big hair) then we got a surprise treat of going to the private store room where all the big artists works are being held/stored for shipping. Got to see the works of Bill Henson (remember the guy that took pics of the naked 12 y.o girl?) Yeah, that guy

- Then after the day ends (4pm), I meet up Koshila and we go everywhere! :D Watched HP, ate at Pancakes at the rocks, Chinatown, etc :D So fun :3

and yeah, that's it so far. Sorry for being so sketchy abt this :L I'm just pretty busy with the course for most of the day then coming home cramming crancher hw and assignments :/ Gonna be a big work day on Sunday. Ah, last day of the course tomrw! And I have to do a 10min presentation in front of everyone. Oh god.

Had a pretty good day today :) In the morning, took a train to cab, only to have trackwork in the way by the time I reached Villawood. Helped an asian granny with her trolley down the stairs and that gave me my good karma for the day :) *will tell you guys later

Came to cabra 2 HOURS later and satisfied my cravings with a Honey milk tea from Burredo. Bit sugary though :/ Went to library alone and started my peak math hw and tried to continue marking the papers of the year 10 kids.

Went over to the park with wends and nikkida. It was pretty relaxing :) We should hang out there more often. Then accidentally met up with Carmen and took our bus to Diab in Fairfield.

Boring lesson was boring. At the end, I handed in my marking and got my first paycheck! :D She paid me 4hours in advanced so that's $60! :D wooooo. Gotta keep going with this marking! Need to save up for that thing I'm looking forward to in the near future! :D

Art theory course in 2 days! Eep! :D I hope there'll be no trackwork, esp on the way home to livo on thurs COS I'M WATCHING HP BITCHES! :D

The holidays are sickening now. I confined myself to my room today and forced myself to do my essay due tomrw. Finished by the 6hr mark D: hate doing essays. Hate them.

Forgot to mention my trip to Danielle's party the other day! It was pretty fun, minus the douchey train guard who almost fined us for having our feets on the seats. Argh. Should responded to his question "Do you know how much the fine is?" with a "YOUR MOTHER."

No one picked up their phones (I seriously went through all my contacts, none of which picked up! :@) so ended up using Annie's phone for maps and walked our way to Danielle's house. Nice place you have there D! :L

Sorry you guys for the absence lately. My life so far has been consumed by assessments and yeah, I know you guys could relate since I think the major demographic of my readers are HAHS YR 11 people. LOL Hm, so yeah, after spending an entire weekend studying for maths- IT'S FINALLY OVER! NO MORE ASSESSMENTS! BUT- I still stuffed it up :'( thought I did ok when I left the room but as the minute progressed and people started talking.. I realised I made more and more and more mistakes :( So ARGH. FML.

Sweet mother yes! It's the long weekend! :D This week.. probably one of the most boring and longest weeks ever. Seriously. Just full of disappointments and yeah (as you can tell, I got my report back)

End of friday was a fun though, went out with Annie, Carmen, Jimmy and Alex to get pho :9 The restaurant in the alley was good I guess, just needed back lighting to make the food look better. Didn't quite mind the small amount of people- I like a small group. Got pandan waffles after, tasted so good :)

Argh, got the biggest headache atm - prob from being confined to my room for the entire day. Started on the speech, I'm getting there. I just gotta continue this tomrw and monday and hopefully I'll be at 80% done. Hopefully.

Sorry for such a boring post but as you can see, I'm not much of a social butterfly that goes out to church outings, parties and such. But yeah, just need to settle down and hit the books. I can't afford to do bad anymore. I want to do well but I just can't commit to some subjects. Nothing exciting will be happening.. so.. bye.

I'm at home at the moment, skipped school since I woke up with a massive headache and stomach pains :( My sickness has been worse this year.. worse than usual, I mean.

Lately I feel like I've been trapped in some cycle- a monotonous, endless routine of wake up, school, class, break, class, hw, train, tutor, home, homework, the usual website

s, sleep, repeat.

I just feel like.. lacking. I go on tumblr, I go through people's blogs, websites,

etc, and I feel like they're living a life that's exciting! I want something more...

I've been thinking lately.. about the future (geez mitchell, what else do you think about?) and I've been pondering about the idea of a career in something to do with design? I don't know, it just seems like so much fun.. but the thing is, my personality is fucking boring and dull. and who the hell would hire me when there's a million other people better than me? This year has shown me that my strengths lie in art (rank 1st) and english (rank 23rd). So what do I do? Oh, this is quite convenient! Career expo tomrw! :D Maybe I'll find something for me!

On another note, I can't wait to drop physics. That is all.

Got my english mark today, finally completing all the results from half yearlies. I genuinely failed physics (though apparently may have passed the 40% average), average-ish for ag and bio, topped art, disappointed with math and came 23rd for English! I'm happy with eng considering I skipped qu 5 of section 1..LOL

I guess these results were expected. Topics that I studied for over the holidays (art, ag, bio) - I did ok in. Math and physics however - I need a study plan. English was just a fluke.

Hoping to learn from my mistakes and improve for the next exams and HSC. I've got to keep it in my head that this is not the end of the world- Year 11 is all about making and learning from your mistakes!

Now let's tackle yearlies and show these bitches what we're made of!

Our final year of camp.. has finally ended! And what an.. eventful 3 days it was, if you would put it that way. Overall, it wasn't the best camp I've ever been to (nothing can beat last year's at Waterlea) but the grade made it bearable :3

One thing I regretted not doing (or should I say bringing) was a beanie :( It was fucking freezing!! D: We only had one activity (I chose archery and fishing) and those were pretty fun! Rest of the days sucked the life out of me.. drug and alcohol education? sigh. And how ironic that was.. well you know, based on what happened...

Photos will be uploaded to fb soon but don't get your hopes up, I didn't capture much this camp..I just trying to live in the moment and enjoy this last opportunity at freedom.

BUT! There were some positives that I achieved through this camp

- I got to go to camp that looked like it was from the set of the camp filmed in the movie 'The Parent Trap'

- I tried maple syrup for the first time :3

- Actually made a fire and relaxed around a 'bonfire' for the first time

So this camp wasn't all bad was it? Downside however was that I got sick. Like SUPER sick. :/ Missed out on Red Shield Appeal today :'( because I woke up vomiting and such. ARGH

And also, on a sad note, my phone is dead. Basically. I spilled oil over it and yeah, it's dead. R.I.P. Still gonna use it though but it's so hard to press/use/see now :'(

Sigh, another week of school ahead. Let's see if I can make it through.

As you could probably see, I had some fun this weekend :D Shoutout to Joki for her wonderful birthday party - it's refreshing to go to a party that isn't at night, isn't it? The day was all about tennis, a gazillion photos, alternate personalities and lot of exploring of Joki's house. A very fun day :D

Oh, I didn't mention this yet, have I? But this year's effort has finally paid off!.. well at least for one of my topics - I came first for Art!! MOTHER FCKING WHOOO! But then again, my ranking is at risk because there's a boarder chick who did really well in her exam and I'm not sure how she did in her cabinet so.. :/ 1st or 2nd, I don't really care much (actually I do) haha.

Sorry I haven't been as active as I would have liked these past few weeks. Exam stress and study took over but dw, it's all over. (well I have a Physics assessment in 2 weeks so meh)

We have athletics carnival then camp to look forward to! More grade moments to discover! :D

Art assignments always follow the same pattern for my class I think. We get the assignment, have at least a month to do, yet we decide to cram the days before it's due. Even though it's year 11, it still applied here. I crammed mine in 3-4 days before thursday.

But i think it came out ok :$

Exams have started and I'm satisfied that I've been studying reasonably well. That, however, flew out the window when the exams actually came Q__Q.

Simple put, I fucked up english. It was all about the poor timing on my part. Argh. I need to work on my timing. Art was ok, our class crammed straight after english exam and went through all the periods in a matter of 2 hrs. Pretty proud since the exam was alright - answered modestly, hopefully did ok :/

So the weekend is here and I'm doing math papers. Joy. Hope people in Britain are having fun and partying it up for that royal wedding of theirs. I still want to see the cake. Gonna google it up later.

I'm also deciding what laptop I should get that is around the $500 price range.

I think I'm deciding on this :D The laptop is faster than my home computer so that's a plus. Michael says that there's another laptop that's way faster than this but the

con is that it's fucking ugly. But really, I know me - I won't miss what I never had. As long as it's better than the school laptop, I think I'm satisfied.

So today, after library finished (and a very productive day it was + a ds session at the end :3), I took a train home from Cab to Bankstown. And since it's daylight savings or whatever, it's darker, sooner. And damn, why is my luck so bad? SO MANY FUCKING TBS ON THE TRAIN. Like fuck, since when did cityrail hold club nights? I get into the carriage and by Villawood, the lights were out and the carriage was illuminated with the lights of cell phones and trance music D: BITCHES GONNA GET RAPED! D:D: Felt so uncomfortable..

Luckily I survived, got off at Bankstown and yeah.. you can tell how awkward that 13 minute wait was (yes, I timed cos I was scared shitless). I think there was a gang meetup or something? again, BITCHES GONNA GET ROLLED.

The past week has been basically full of disappointments. I'm not going to say my results but, yeah, exams or assessments that have been given back makes me want to throw up and die in a hole. I'm angry at myself. I can come up with a million excuses but really, everyone had the same conditions as me, so I can't complain. I will not.

So determination to study and do well in half yearlies? = boosted!

Sorry for my absence lately. Year 11 is slowly eating away at my social life (funny that I think internet = social life) and yeah, the melodramatic and snappy persona- sorry about that. One thing that I'm excited for- CAMP! :D And it's mandatory too so finally we can have a REAL camp with the entire Hurlstone Family! :D Excited? You know I am! :D

Ah the week is finally over. Man, the past few days have taken so much energy out of me. Tuesday were the English and Agriculture tests :S Ok, first off I would just like to express my happiness with the English Faculty for giving us question 1 - if it had been the second question, I seriously would have cried right then and there. Although I regurgitated my practice essay.. I'm not happy with it :/ it just doesn't seem adequate enough and seriously, my language could have been more sophisticated :( Going off the feeling of regret.. I screwed up my ag exam. I will leave it at that.

Wednesday table tennis was pretty fun as usual :) Defeated Andrew (tall white guy) so wooo :) FLUKE SHOTS FTW! :D Oh and on thursday I got my Peak Math test results and woo I didn't fail! Came 7th bitches! :D so yeah, that's one test I can be proud of :3

Friday couldn't go by any slower. Thurs p6 was Math. Fri offline maths. Fri P1 maths. P3 Physics. kill me. >_>

Had a bitchfest at lunch with Stephen, Anh and Diem - felt so good to let all my anger out at particular people. But yeah, IT'S FRIDAY, FRIDAY, GETTING DOWN ON FRIDAY! Rebecca Black love. After coming home from school, I died. I seriously did. Showered then went to bed at 5pm ALL the way to 8am the next morning. 15 hour sleep bitches :D

The weather is still Summer but in my backyard, it's already Autumn! :3 look how gold this leaf I picked off the ground is! :D

So the first week of school has passed! And really, as much as I would like to say 'oh, i've been having such a great time, it's been so quick'- I CAN'T. This hot, humid weather stretches out the days more than tough skin on a 4 day old porkchop.

In the period of a week, I've tried my best to be friendly to the new kids. I think I'm on good terms with Amy and Mike (?) :L I've got nothing to complain about my teachers, they're all good :3

Though today I went to Ms Jackson to change my classes because I've given it some thought and I can risk this whole 1 unit visual design thing because of my online ext. maths.

So how was back to school for you guys? For me: it was all about the weather and how shit it was/is. Today was basically a massive sauna following me around everywhere Q_Q

I seriously can't cope with humid, warm and hot dry winds weather. Like, seriously, I grow a uterus, develop male PMS and rage quit at everything during these types of weather! :@

Things are changing. Little things in my life are changing. I was at a restaurant in Cab after Peak the other day and I was staring outside the empty roads that was earlier bustling with people. Then it hit me. I'm 16. Year 11. How is it that i can remember SO CLEARLY what it felt like to be in say, Year 2-3? I still remember that time in year 3 and my class walked over to the year 4 class and I was HOLY SHIT, I'M GONNA BE IN YEAR 4 IN A COUPLE OF MONTHS. And now, argh, life is moving too quick.

I'm nervous. I'm nervous to dive into the textbooks and endless scraps of random sheets and notes. I'm nervous to see how I will do. I'm nervous at the thought of being nervous.

New year, big whoop. But this is different. We're seniors now. I still feel like i've missed out on childhood. No offence to my Mum, I love her to bits, but.. all my memories of being a child was really, simply put: either the image of school - or the terror of tutor.

And I don't blame her for enrolling me so early. I'm not naturally smart- I know that. I just.. feel like I'm missing out. Hence why these holidays I spontaneously decide to go places like centro and such. Relive and take back what could have been mine.

I don't know anymore. The nerves are calming and I MUST get my mind at ease before the stress that lies ahead. I will pull through the next 2 years. I promise to do my best.

So the other day I went to the city with Wendy, Eric, Vanessa, Lisa and Michelle. It was good to just dive back into exploring, not knowing where you're going and miraculously hitting places you remember a year back.

Did the usual places: Kinokuniya where I was smashed in the face with cute japanese stationery and magazine. I went on a search to find that Korean magazine where it was basically pictures after picture of everyone who's anyone, but to my disappointment- nothing :( Then I went to the stationery section - imagine doing your school shopping here. Your fucking wallet and bank accounts would be molested. Checked out photography books, tripped over those swirly chairs and totally ruining the 'yeah, i'm slightly cool' look that I was slowly developing Q___Q

I'm gonna skip a lot of the details, because really I'm not the type that recounts every fucking second of moments of my life, so let's cut the part you guys know that I would fucking rock the shit out of - KARAOKE.

I'm. too. good. :D:D was it 98 that I got for busting out 'Beautiful' by B2ST? BWHAHHA. :D yeah! Ah, karaoke was definitely the highlight; was so fun.

The rest of my week was spent doing the following

- Over at sister's place and playing around

- One library outing to do tutor hw. Did not go well. Meh, IDC since I learnt how to play Thirteen :)

- Went Parra yesterday and met up with an old primary school friend Natasha. Haha, it was fun just browsing the shops and getting some school stuff

- Spent today .. at home :)

whew. what a busy day. So this morning (which I may say started off with a friddgin uncomfortable sleep- you know those ones where your pillows push away from your head and your head is like lower than usual and all this brain tingling starts to happen that you wanna smash yourself with a bat? + your entire body is dry as and all you wanna do is to have the slightest bit of moisture to freaking .. anyways, i'm getting off track :)

Went to DFO today and was really disappointed :( no 'good' sales ~ ok, i'm not trying to come across as cheap BUT I WANT MY $5 COTTON ON SHIRTS!!! WHERE HAVE MY BABIES GONE?!!! It's just a long as walk of asian shame as I walk across those closets full of .. ok $10 shirts. Sigh. I'd rather spend my 10 bucks on the above! Yeah, it's just a normal checkered long sleeved button up from Barkins -- so i'm satisfied... JUST satisfied.

Went to asian bankstown for lunch. Mom changed my order from hu tieu to com tam bo sinh cha ~ and freaking hell, it was shit as :( The pork chop was dry as, the rice tasted old and hard, the cha was again, dry and flavourless. I could've chucked a bitchfit right there. But i didn't and drank some dry ass, hot tea.

Came home, surfed the net (I have discovered the glory of tumblr), and alas! DOUBLE FUCKING RAINBOW IN FRONT OF DOORSTEP! (Above!)

I went out to centro today and got myself rechargeable batteries from dick smith ($29) which means, UNLIMITED PHOTO TAKING! :L Decided to take a break from my peak hw today and saw my camera and my 3D glasses that I got from last year's uni trip. Decided to combine the two and voila! (<- yeah, thanks alvinn for teaching me how to spell that) this is what you get :L I like the effect but I wish I can like perfect that. But you know.. in order to do that, you'll need a better camera. But I'm happy with my average point and shoot Nikon :) Sorry I'm not hipster enough.

2011's here! Let's hope this year will be good for us as we finally begin our senior years :D And can you guys believe it? Term 4 this year = Year 12 D:D:

So yeah lately i've been limping around the house (ankle fcked up) and yeah, 2 days after the accident I went to Cab to get it massaged and bandaged up by some chinese therapist guy. He was freaking marinating it in some black herbal paste (it smelled like dead eggs D:) and yeah, wrapped it all over the ankle and told me to leave it for 24 hrs. 2 hrs later, the 'paste' started leaking and i swear to buddha, I spent the remaining 22 hours finding materials around the house to further wrap it. ==" I felt like a human kebab.

But alas! Yesterday night I unwrapped it and it feels great :) Oh, it has been so hot lately right? God my house has like.. no vents whatsoever so it's like freaking concentrated global warming here. The heat is freaking insulated here and i.. feel like a kebab again >_>"

BUT I WILL REFRAIN MYSELF! I NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT! Since exercising is apparently a no go for me for at least another week, I must cut back on eating and start drinking ALOT of water before every meal so half my appetite is filled :) sounds good? No? Yeah, same. =="

Hopefully I can go out soon to DFO- i need new stuff. And it's cheap!

So how did you spend your Christmas and Boxing Day this year? I spent it pretty well- visiting my sister's and playing with the niece LOL. Since I don't celebrate xmas, I was surprised when I got a few gifts from my mom's work friends. Well it's just chocolates but hey! who's complaining? :P I gave my sister and mom their presents- they're all pretty happy! Crepe Makers and kitchen goods are all safe presents I guess :L

Spent yesterday at a family friend's Farewell/Christmas/Birthday party - it was pretty awkward. I stayed silent for the entire time and yeah.. it was just really uncomfortable. :/ Food was ok though :L BBQ (L)

Today's plan? I feel like I haven't progressed in any workloads so far this hols, so I think I'm gonna work on some Peak hw :) That way when I blow all my cash tomrw at Parra, I won't feel guilty :L

I lost my phone :'( More of that later.

So yesterday I spontaneously decided to go to Parra after I found out my babysitting got cancelled and i was stuck in Cabra at 7am, until Peak Maths at 4:30 :D Met up with everyone at cab and yeah.. that was when I lost it. I'm pretty sure it slipped out of my pocket or someone may have grabbed it? Though the latter seems unlikely.

Parra was pretty fun I guess. Got there, had lunch then watched TRON - which, no offence, was pretty a big waste of $20, which could have paid for like.. what, 3 bowls of bun bo hue?! (PS, the Bankstown Dong Ba BBH is freaking fckjdfcd !! :9) I don't know, i had no idea what was going on and the effect.. ok, a lot of neon lights and ridiculous costumes but still.. it wasn't good :/

It's almost that time of the year again! CHRISTMAS! :D Time to sit in front of the tv and watch christmas specials, of happy families living in places where it snows and having a big chicken/turkey/whatever and being happy :) Eh, even though I don't celebrate Christmas, at least I can indulge in candy canes :9 I'm hoping to find some blue ones one day

I got these candy canes from a Laos restaurant today :D yummy. I dropped the red one though :( i was actually sad.. ><" Today was pretty fun. Went over to my sister's place and took photos of the niece - she's so cute :D Also had Truong English test today. Part 1 was hard 'cos I didn't know what I was writing half the time :/ but section 2 was ok since my start up plot fit perfectly, although a tad bit cliche.

Oh btw, YES! IT'S FREAKING HOLIDAYS! And the first holiday EVER that I'm NOT planning to spend in a library, studying for a test. So I see you guys are thinking in your minds "Really Mitchell? Your FIRST non-study holiday this ENTIRE year?"

Urm, well I kinda got into a fight with Mom cos of my quitting of truong and my apparently 'lazy' behaviour towards studying at the present moment. I'm not sure what she expects.. Yearlies and School Cert are over, there's really no work to be done at school and tutor.. has been well.. the same. I just want to talk to my sister. At least the last time my family had a big fight, at least she was there. How life's changes sucks balls.

Speaking of tutor, I called up Peak yesterday and got into the Thursday 4:30-6:30 class! I believe Pranav is in there so yeah, things are starting to sort out. The holidays are becoming near and my group hasn't been coming to school as of late. So I guess no KK exchanges this year >>"

What to look forward to this week:

MON: Last day of bludge classes (nts, load up laptop with movies and more music videos and perfs)

TUES: Archibull Awards Presentation. A bus filled with 8 art kids, Mr Norris and 2 cows? Fuuuun.

WED: My Own Work workshop

THURS: Final Assembly - Reports and SC Results - Formal!

FRI: Beginning of holidays! :D

Wow, what a busy week this has been! - NOT. Classes have been such a bludge that work in maths is actually making me happy D: The basic routine of the day is walk in, open laptop, kpoptumblrallkpopblog, end of class, begin next class, repeat. And no, it's not because I'm rebel or whatever- the teachers aren't really doing anything! Not that I'm complaining :S

I had an emotional breakdown today. No, not the dramatic, soap opera type. You see, it was in Maths and it started off with me fake laughing with Ms Crancher (we were discussing something that I totally did not care for) and yeah.. I couldn't stop. I could not for the love of god stop laughing. Tears were pouring out of my eyes like a waterfall and god, I could not stop. I was a maniac. I kept thinking of my leaving of Truong, my lack of childhood memories that I talked with Diem earlier in the day (i.e. not having a photo with Santa, not knowing about the Tooth Fairy, etc.) and yeah, I couldn't stop laughing and crying. WTF is wrong with me lately?

Crancher: Mitchell! Snap out of it! Find 5 colours around the room - that's how you calm down!

Me: I'M COLOURBLIND!

I would like to use this post to make everyone aware that at this point in time, I have decided to leave Truong Tutoring. You guys already know the reasons for this so I won't repeat. I would just like to say this: Thank you Sir, Miss Lam and Mr Joseph for teaching so much these 5 years. I have learnt much more than maths and for that, I am forever grateful. Thank you.

I'm awaiting a confirmation from Peak maths anytime soon so yeah, I have my next 2 years of schooling planned out. I can now. finally. breathe.

On a lighter note, I went to Liverpool after school today in search of formal shoes! And wallah! Got these for $40 down from $80 :D And now, my formal outfit is complete!

Bludge lessons and Harry Potter!

Today was probably one of the most fun days I've had in the past 3 months! :D Finally finished with studying, we have finally reached that stage in the year where exams are over, tutor is having new topics (hence, less stress), school events are coming soon and we can actually go to class and not do work :) I'm so glad we reached this time of the year! :D

So how was school for me? Bludge after bludge after bludge! And what's the beauty of this? Teachers don't give shit either! :D Our table basically just watched shows and movies for the entire day and just relaxed.. but mostly, we were all pumped for HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS!!

First of all, I just want a quick shoutout to Holly who organised this entire thing! Thank you so much woman! Freaking 37 HAHS Year 10ners bombarding Liverpool, even giving those tbs a run for their money! :D

Got changed into more comfortable clothes then got a bite to eat (KFC chips = love) then ordered some slushies from maccas :9 then to the movies!!

And man, HARRY POTTER was AMAZING. By cutting the book in half allowed so much more to fit in and the film actually followed the book! :D The special effects were amazing (i.e Ron smashing the locket and having this volcano of smoke pop out and looking all scary and shit was awesome!) and I love how they interpreted the tale of the Deathly Hallows by showing it as silhouettes of somesort :) Film was action packed with spells (you guys don't know how much I awe at the explosions and light effects that the spells create) and awesome acting!

Ah! Can't wait for next year for the last installment :')

Woo! School's out!! :D haha, ok, maybe not, but hey, SC IS OVER! Now to spend our days distracted by our laptops and not giving a fuck- COS ALL EXAMS ARE OVER! :D

I took friday off (since half the school was jigging and going to places like the city and such) and slept in and went to DFO to find formal stuff. And you know? I found nothing. Absolutely nothing. Except for a basic white long sleeved shirt that it rather.. meh. But I guess you gotta keep it simple if you're going for a vest look?

So the day after (yesterday), Mom surprised me and dragged me to Parra! I haven't been for ages! :D and yeah, I found the rest of my formal attire there! WOOT! ^0^ I'm set! But argh, so much money down the drain.

Let's add everything up- entire formal attire (shirt, vest, bowtie) = $90!

Ok, plan for the day is to do my truong hw - actually completing each qu until I get it. I can't afford to mess up this week- he absolutely slaughtered me last week :'( HEY I WAS HAVING A BAD DAY OK?! I got freaking food poisoning from the banana milk and urgh, let's just say, vomiting became frequent every 100m I took.

Hope you guys are having a good weekend. Damn Summer is coming :( My house is freaking hot and I can't turn the air con on without feeling guilty about next month's electricity bill. #stingyasian
